Are you praying for your OM worker everyday?
Here's a plan to get you started:

DAY 1: Your Worker’s Relationship to God.
Do not assume your worker/s are super-spiritual. Pray for:
• Feeding on God’s Word/Prayer Life
• Filling with the Holy Spirit
• Maturity and growth in grace
• Victory over Satan and the flesh
Pray through these verses phrase by phrase, applying them to your missionary: Col 1: 9-12, Eph 1: 15-20, Eph 3:14-19, Phil 1: 9-11.

DAY 2: Your Worker’s Physical and Emotional Life

Many live in difficult climates where various diseases are prevalent. Pray for good health, deliverance from discouragement, loneliness and depression and travelling mercies.

DAY 3: Your Worker’s Family

• Husband/wife relationships
• Children --their salvation and growth in the Lord, health, education
• Close relatives at home. Missionaries are too often lost to the mission field because of family concerns
• Single workers -- facing temptations and dangers alone
• Family life -- that it will be an exemplary model for national Christians and the unsaved

DAY 4: Your Worker’s Ability to Communicate
• Language competence requires a life-time of hard work. A superficial knowledge of the language is not sufficient for communicating deep spiritual truths, so a high degree of competence in the local language must be achieved.
• Your worker must adapt culturally and identify closely with the people he is seeking to reach in order to show God’s love

DAY 5: Your Worker’s Ministry

• Support for witnessing, visiting, teaching, preaching, administration
• Use the prayer letters to pray for boldness, to open doors and hearts and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit for fruitful service (John 15:16)

DAY 6: Your Worker’s Team Mates

Christian workers are usually part of a team and also work closely with national believers, especially pastors. Satan often causes havoc in this area.
• Pray that solid relationships in the Lord will be maintained for single and married workers

DAY 7: Your Worker’s Country of Service

• Pray for the country or area: political situation, government and leaders, matter of visas, freedom to extend the preaching of the Gospel throughout the whole country, and for a climate of responsiveness to the Gospel
